Temperatures could reach 33 degrees in the Paris region, and 35 degrees in the north of the country.
Météo-France has placed Tuesday nine departments in vigilance orange, in the Paris region and in the North, for an episode of heatwave which must last at least until Thursday morning, with temperatures that can reach "33 degrees in the Paris region" .
The departments concerned are Paris, Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-de-Marne, Hauts-de-Seine, Seine-et-Marne, Yvelines, Essonne, Val-d'Oise and Nord, according to the Météo-France bulletin

Restrictions on the use of water have however been taken in several departments of western France because of the drought, particularly in Vendée.
