The post-game draw between Leicester and West Ham (1-1) on Saturday was marked by a serious accident. The helicopter belonging to Foxes executives crashed in the parking lot of King Power Stadium. The police and the helpers quickly went on the spot. For the moment, we do not know the balance sheet of the accident. Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, the owner of England's club championship in 2016, is used to come to Leicester home games by helicopter.

According to the Telegraph, a witness saw the helicopter take off thirty minutes after the end of the match, then dive to the ground before crashing. As rescue services rushed to the drama scene, players (including Kasper Schmeichel) and club supporters were in tears.

"There were flames everywhere"

The British newspaper still quotes a witness: "The helicopter was stalled near the stadium roof after taking off, when it began to decline. There were flames everywhere, it was horrible to see it happen in front of us. " "He hit the ground making a huge noise before catching fire", completes a subscriber quoted by the Guardian.

In a statement, the club said he would speak when he had more information from the police and the people in charge of the investigation.

A Leicester City spokesman said: "We are badisting Leicestershire Police and the emergency services in dealing with a major incident at King Power Stadium.
