Smartphone manufacturers are constantly looking for ways to make their products thinner and lighter. But the task does not seem easy since even giants like Samsung or Apple have not succeeded so far. Little known, the Japanese sign Kyocera however, dares to take up the challenge. She offers a phone of a 5.3 mm thick and weighing only 47 grams. christened KY-01 Lit is proclaimed the world's finest phone by the Japanese operator Docomo. A proclamation that does not seem to make everyone agree.

The technical sheet of the Kyocera KY-01 L is quite impressive in itself. From what we know about him, he has a 2.8 inch monochrome e-paper screen. Its power is provided by a battery of 380 mAh and despite the fact that it does not have applications, it is LTE compatible and therefore allows to surf effectively on the internet. As mentioned above, this phone only measure 5.3 mm thick, for a total weight of 47 grams. With such finesse, it can easily be called the world's thinnest smartphone.

However, the Moto Z 2016 of Motorola slightly better with his 5.2 mm thick. A fact that Docomo refuses to admit, because this model embeds a bump dedicated to the camera at the back, unlike Kyocera KY-01 L. For the moment, therefore, we can not really say which of the two is the finest.
