The body of a man with hands shackled by handcuffs was discovered by a boater Friday, July 20 in the evening on the town of Ploemeur, near Lorient (Morbihan), has we learned Saturday, July 21 from the prosecutor. The body, which was still unidentified Saturday afternoon, was found near the hold of the beach of Perello
The presence of handcuffs "does not exclude a desperate gesture" estimated Cécile Flamet, Vice-Prosecutor of the Republic of Lorient. An autopsy will be performed next week to identify the victim and to determine how long the body has been in the water. The investigation was entrusted to the police of Lorient.
