If one relies on a Polish dealer, it is possible that the Xiaomi Mi A2 expected on July 24 is accompanied by a Lite version, but nothing is sure yet.
Xiaomi is organizing an event on July 24th for the worldwide launch of at least one new product. The speculations are obviously appropriate: will it be the international version of the Mi 8, will it be the Mi A2? Maybe both ? We will not have a clear heart before the end of July
If it is the Xiaomi Mi A2 is presented (which is likely), there is a small chance that this smartphone middle high-end range is accompanied by a light version logically called Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite . A Polish reseller has already referenced this product on its platform, as noted by the site gsmManiaK – taken over by GSM Arena.
The model would thus have more modest characteristics than the Mi A2. As a reminder, we already know what to expect for the latter since it will be a clone on Android One (instead of MIUI) Mi 6X already formalized in China.
So instead of a Snapdragon 660, the Lite version would be satisfied with a Snapdragon 625. On the camera side, its dual sensor would have definitions of 12 and 5 megapixels instead of a couple of 12 + 20 megapixels. However, the battery would be larger with a capacity of 4000 mAh against 3000 mAh for the original model.
As for the price, the dealer displays 1 299 złotys for the Mi A2 and 1 049 złotys for the Mi A2 Lite respectively 300 and 242 euros. These prices could obviously change in France and also remember that as the Mi A2 Lite will not be officialized, it will take all this information with tweezers.
