The Châlons-en-Champagne administrative court on Monday ordered a new medical examination of the health status of
Vincent Lambert, a tetraplegic patient in a vegetative state since 2008, after the recent withdrawal of three experts he had himself appointed.
For five years, parents, a sister and a brother of Vincent Lambert have been suing in court stop artificial nutrition and hydration of their loved one they consider "handicapped."

"It is a good decision, the court confirms that this measure of expertise is necessary to make a final decision", Jean Paillot, lawyer of Vincent Lambert's parents, told AFP. "But we need experts with sufficient expertise" and "Vincent is placed provisionally in a suitable institution so that expertise can take place in the best conditions," he said.
