BlackBerry Key2 Lite: A more affordable version of the smartphone keyboard approach?

[ad_1]

Original and well designed, the BlackBerry Key2 (our test) is a smartphone that has several advantages to seduce fans of the brand and professionals. While the device has just been released, rumors indicate that a Lite version may well be on the horizon.

The famous leaker Evan Blbad known to be very knowledgeable of the new the industry, recently posted a snapshot showing an unpublished BlackBerry model. We can only glimpse the back of the device, but it looks a lot like the Key2 and has the same dimensions.

Alleged BlackBerry Luna, aka the "KEY2 Lite" (Lite and not Mini 'cuz they supposedly have the same form factor). Said / shown to come in red, blue, and copper. pic.twitter.com/fMza9pAAZC

Blbad explains that the latter is called "Luna", and presents himself as a BlackBerry Key2 Lite. He specifies that he could come out in red, blue and copper.

As usual, we can expect a model with a less powerful data sheet, but especially at a more reasonable price. It is true that the 650 euros requested by the brand for the Key2 seemed abusive, especially since the embedded hardware is rather in the mid-range. If it were offered cheaper, it could convince more potential customers.

* This plastic 'Berry is said to launch late August / early September, perhaps at IFA.
