Another finding in June, applications for 4G site licenses increased by 1.3% and start-ups increased by 1.5%.

More concretely, Bouygues Telecom was the most active in terms of 4G deployment with 443 additional 4G sites compared to only 149 in May. Focus on the 4G Deployment of Free

Free Mobile was the last term of new 4G sites during the month of June. a small acceleration and therefore still closes the general ranking. But in addition to the deployment of new 4G sites, Free was also active in the deployment of 1800 MHz antennas with 219 additional active antennas during the last month (9,352 in total) and 374 additional authorized. Free thus consolidates its 2nd place in terms of the deployment of 1800MHz frequencies and is getting closer to the 1st, SFR.

Free has also been active in the deployment of new 700MHz antennas, with 143 active antennas on the month against 107 in May, for a total of 1,611 in services.

Note that thanks to the TNT frequency shifts that took place last spring in the Great East and which allowed the release of the 700 MHz band, Since June 1, the ANFR has authorized 164 new sites, 163 for Free Mobile and 1 for Bouygues Telecom.

The deployment of the 1800MHz and 700MHz frequencies makes it possible for operators to deploy their 4G sites in this area. to have the 4G + but also to extend the coverage 4G because it is frequencies lower than the 2,6GHz that Free deployed at the launch of the 4G.
