Chalon-sur-Saône: the stop of the menus of substitution to the pork in the canteens invalidated by the justice

In 2015, at the initiative of Gilles Platret, mayor The Republicans of Chalon-sur-Saone, the city council of the city of Saone-et-Loire had voted the end of pork substitution menus in school restaurants in the name of "principle of secularism". The administrative court of Dijon had decided on August 28, 2017 by canceling the decision of the municipal council of Chalon. Mayor Gilles Platret had then decided to appeal. The appeal lodged by the city of Chalon-sur-Saône was examined by the Administrative Court of Appeal of Lyon on October 9th. This Tuesday, October 23, the court has decided to cancel again the action taken by the Chalon municipal council in 2015.
