Wednesday, around 11am, a group of children practicing canoeing discovered a body partially immersed at the level of the premises of the Mixed Syndicate of Rhone Islands and Lônes (SMIRIL) in Grigny, a small town of the metropolis of Lyon, reports Le Progrès

As soon as the body was discovered, the animators brought the young sportsmen back to the pool of games before giving the alert. Several teams of firefighters accompanied by divers were dispatched to the site and took the body out of the water.

According to the initial findings, it would be a man. Firefighters working with union officials did not consider it necessary to set up a psychological support unit for children.
