The State Council Has Given Its Fire green to the project of construction of two twin towers in the Parisian business district and despite the recourse of companies Axa and Allianz.

Sacred disappointment for Allianz and Axa. Despite the filing of several appeals, the Council of State has agreed to the construction of two Twin Towers 320 meters high, Franceinfo reports. The Sages therefore rejected the appeals lodged against the promoter of the project, the Russian Emin Iskenderov, by the two insurance companies. They are fiercely opposed to this construction project because it implies that they will have to be destroyed buildings they own.

The building permit for these Hermitage Twin Towers, designed by the famous British architect Norman Foster, was issued by the mayor of the city of Courbevoie, in the Hauts-de-Seine. Slightly smaller than the Eiffel Tower (less than four meters, these towers will dress the banks of the Seine.) A construction estimated at 2.8 billion euros that will mix hotels, businesses, offices and residential apartments.

"The decision of the Council of State is a very important step that confirms our delivery schedule for the Olympic Games in 2024 ", congratulated Emin Iskenderov, a green light encouraging in light of the many setbacks encountered by the construction project.A project launched in 2007, but which faced dozens of administrative and civil procedures because of the various oppositions. Demolition works have not yet begun.

In April 2017, franceinfo recalls, a part of the neighborhood opposed to the construction of the towers finally agreed. Many of the buildings that will have to be destroyed on the construction site still refuse to leave their homes, as is the case at the Damier residence. Emin Iskenderov is however confident: "The start date of the work should be defined in September, but still with the delivery target early 2024".
