Ending the delays, it is possible with Google Maps

Who has never been caught up in a professional or personal job to the point of forgetting an appointment? Fortunately, to put an end to the delays, a new option is available on the web version of Google Maps. Once this is activated, users are alerted by a notification, which even offers them the route to follow.

According to Android Police a recent update of the web version of the mapping application created by Google provides a new feature to end the delays. However, its operation is closely related to the use of the Google Calendar. If the event has not been recorded by the owner of the user account, it will not be possible to activate the famous option.

Conversely, if there is an entry mentioning the date, time and place of appointment, after activating the option, the user receives a notification that will allow him to easily reach the destination. This indicates a start time, which is automatically calculated by the application, to finish once and for all with the delays. To simplify its reading, the notification is displayed at the top right of the screen and even includes a suggested route.

This is not the first time Google has implemented notifications to alert users of the version web of its mapping application. Indeed, these had been used to encourage the Local Guides to contribute more, but also to indicate the accesses arranged for the people with reduced mobility. Nevertheless, with its option provisionally named " It's time to go ", Google Maps should allow many people to not only end the delays, but also to improve their reputation with their colleagues , their friends and their families.
