Two lanes were reopened a little after 10 hours. Around 8 am, this Friday morning, a vehicle caught fire in the tunnel of the Porte des Lilas, on the outer ring road. The five lanes had been closed. The portion between the gates of Bagnolet and Lilas, heading north of the capital, was completely inaccessible, and strong traffic jams had formed in the area.

The fire was controlled shortly before 9 am and two lanes were reopened one hour later. The agents of the City of Paris, which operates the ring road, have yet to check the condition of the roadway. If it has not been damaged, it can be returned in its entirety to motorists.
