Apple released tonight beta 5 of iOS 12 for developers. We have already installed this version on our iPhone X which serves us during our tests. We now propose to you to discover the novelties of this update as well as the bug fixes.
Recall that iOS 12 Beta 5 is a beta version for developers which will soon be available for beta -testeurs, before arriving in final version this fall, around September
Here are the new features of this beta 5 iOS 12:
- Screen time: new startup screen inviting users to say if the device is used by an adult or a child.
- iOS 12 seems to offer a better stability and more fluidity.
- Battery: the function Battery state is no longer in beta
- Haptic return lighter when there is no application in multitasking (thanks to justzikey)
- Some banking applications still plant as it's is the case of the Credit app Farm, and probably other apps are concerned.
- Music: A new window in the Search tab tells you you can "Search lyrics by typing a few words from a song you want to find" .
- Photos: new startup screen, and addition of icons in the categories of the albums.
Other bugs are still present, but they will normally be corrected by the final version this fall. For now, we can not say anything about autonomy, which since the beta 2 is on our iPhone X.
