4 sas are already operational and twelve more will be installed in the month, thanks to a partnership between IN Groupe and Gunnebo.

The Nice-Côte d'Azur airport commissioned its first airlock on July 6th PARAFE (Automatic Automated Pbadage at the External Borders) with facial recognition. This installation is the result of a partnership between IN Groupe and security software specialist Gunnebo. Four first airlocks were installed and twelve others will be installed in the month, both arrivals and departures.

The airports of Lyon and Marseille are already equipped with PARAFE airlocks, but they are in turn set to recognize the fingerprints of pbadengers. "The interest of the PARAFE airlock that we develop in partnership with Gunnebo is that it is possible to set them either for a biometric fingerprint recognition, or for a facial recognition, depending on the demands of airports", explains Didier Trutt, CEO of IN Groupe. "The airports of Lyon and Marseille should very soon offer airlocks with facial recognition," he predicts.
