Operation snail in the Ardennes to protest against rising fuel prices

According to our colleague Arlyne Jeannot of everyday life the Ardennes, Netizens members of the movement "November 17, 2018 France blocked" organized a large snail operation from the city's exhibition center to protest against rising fuel prices.

The Federation of Public Works of Champagne-Ardenne announced a similar operation Monday morning from 7 am in each of the four departments, followed by a convergence to the prefectures around 11 am.

In their line of sight, the abolition by the government in its 2019 budget of the reduction on the domestic consumption tax (TICPE) on non-road diesel, raising the bill for the companies concerned.

Apolitical collectives

"This measure will represent a tax increase of nearly 700 million euros for the only public works sector"badures the National Federation of Public Works.
