While the Barometer nPerf Internet connections gives the network of SFR as the most powerful of Martinique and Guadeloupe for the first half of 2018, the Arcep, Telecom Regulatory Authority, announces that Orange is the mobile network No. 1.

While the Barometer nPerf of the Internet connections gives the network of SFR as the most powerful of Martinique and Guadeloupe for the first semester 2018, Arcep, the Telecom Regulatory Authority, announces that Orange is the mobile network No. 1.
For the first time, the Arcep teams carried out a field survey of 2 May 23, to badess the reliability of coverage maps and the quality of mobile network services in overseas departments. In Guadeloupe, nearly 50,000 measurements were made.
Orange is ranked 1st or 1st on six of the six criteria for voice / SMS, and on six of the six criteria for mobile internet, either overall 1st or 1st tied on 12 of the 12 criteria measured.
Among these criteria, Orange ranks: No. 1 on the quality of voice telephony service in places of life and on roads, but also on SMS (received in less than 10 seconds), mobile web browsing (in less than 10 seconds on the roads), and the average file download speed. Orange is also a leader on the "very good coverage" criterion for voice and SMS. In Guadeloupe, 99.9% of the population is covered in voice and SMS by Orange.
The operator also announces to be leader in number of 4G sites (184 in Guadeloupe). In Guadeloupe, it covers nearly 97% of the population in 4G, and intends to continue its deployment by the end of the year.
