Playground Games (Forza Horizon) continues to hire for its future RPG

Pending the official presentation of the game, the studio continues its mutation with the arrival of a wave of talented developers.

At the E3 2018, Microsoft announced the repurchase from Playground Games the studio behind the Forza Horizon franchise. The English developers are currently working on Forza Horizon 4 but another project is also in the making. This is a very ambitious AAA RPG that could be Fable 4 . This has not yet been confirmed by Xbox so we will have to wait for an official announcement to be sure.

We learn today that Playground Games has just hired several major developers from prestigious studios . They come from EA Motive Ninja Theory (also bought by Microsoft ), Rocksteady (Batman Arkham) or Guerrilla Games (Killzone, Horizon). All were taken in the optics to work on this famous RPG still very mysterious. Here is the list:

  • Scotty Brown: Senior environment artist who went through EA Motive where he worked on Star Wars Battlefront II. He also made a pbadage through Bioware and Midway Games .
  • Noel Lukasewich: He was 13 years at Bioware where he dealt with four Mbad Effect as environment artist
  • Martin Lancaster: he worked on the screenplay on Batman Arkham Knight and Batman Arkham VR at Rocksteady Studios .
  • Chris Goodall: he worked on Hellblade, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and DMC: Devil May Cry at Ninja Theory . He also worked on Disney Infinity.
  • Rob den Dekker: He was part of the QA team at Ninja Theory Microsoft Lionhead and Natural Motion on games like Fable, LittleBigPlanet and Forza Horizon 2.
  • Joe McKernan: he will return to Playground Games after 4 years of absence. This interface designer has worked on Horizon Zero Dawn, Destiny 2 and Forza Horizon.

Playground Games is surrounded by his RPG. It will be necessary to be patient before being able to discover it.
