Playground Games recruits heads for its "secret" RPG action | Xbox One

It's no longer a secret for a long time, Playground Games is developing an open world RPG action. It has been known for at least 1 1/2 years when Playground Games was officially talking about its second studio. Today, we learn that many video game personalities have joined their ranks.

Gamesindustry lists the latest recruitments from the studio:

  • Scotty Brown, environment artist on Star Wars Battlefront II
  • ] Noel Lukasewich, lead environment artist, spent 13 years at BioWare
  • Martin Lancaster, narrative director, comes from Rocksteady Studios
  • Chris Goodall, principal animator, comes from Ninja Theory (now a Microsoft studio, ed)
  • Rob den Dekker, lead technician QA team, comes from Ninja Theory
  • Joe McKernan, lead UI artist, back at Guerrilla Games then Destiny 2 at Bungie after pbadages at Guerrilla Games and Bungie

The world is going to be working on the next big game of Playground Games whose official title for the moment is none other than Forza Horizon 4, which is scheduled to be released in October this year.

Recall that P layground Games is now a studio owned by Microsoft. The announcement of the buyout was formalized during the E3 2018. This new action RPG game could well be Fable 4, if the rumors say true.
