A fight that will have lasted 10 years
The mayor of Pusey had already developed in his commune in 1988, a first area "Oasis". It will take 10 years to complete this new project.
The reason for this delay, legal action to ensure that this new area is never land. So at the laying of this first stone, Tuesday morning, Rene Regaudie recalled the progress and pride of this outcome.
A substantial investment
It is the company "Sopic Nord" specializing in commercial development that will invest 25 million euros on this new Pusey site.
With a total sales area of 15,000 m2, this new area will be the first "new generation" commercial park in Haute-Saône.
New national brands set up in Haute-Saône
This is a first in the department, a sports shop "Decathlon" will settle on this new area, but not only. Other brands are expected such as Intersport, Chaussea, Hall, GIFI, CCV, Besson, Maxi Zoo or Vib's.
The arrival of these 13 banners will complete the offer already on the Pusey site. In total, the commercial area will count about fifty businesses. Shops and therefore employment, we are talking about sixty direct jobs.
Curb out-of-department purchases by offering new offers

A new area that worries competition
Close neighbor of this new area, Damien Craimet holds a bedding store at the Espace de la Motte, Vesoul side, he is president of the badociation of traders of this zone, about thirty stores. He is worried about the possible duplication between signs, survival for some stores and the disappearance of others. This observation is shared by the president of the Vesoul shop windows, an badociation of shopkeepers in the prefecture, which is also worried about the city center's trade and that of the already existing areas.
In Pusey, the opening of this first "new generation" commercial park is scheduled for September 2019.
