Capcom has just given details about the characters of this second opus and about the big collector reserved for the American market.

During Comic-Con 2018 in San Diego, the Japanese publisher has unveiled some information about Resident Evil 2. The remake of the second opus impressed during its first presentation at E3 last June and Capcom should continue to put us on the lookout until its release next January.

Thus, the developers have put online a new visual that highlights Claire Redfield the other playable character of the game. As in the PlayStation version of 1998, the sister of Chris Redfield and Leon Kennedy will each be entitled to a unique adventure. It is the player who will have to choose who to play at the beginning of the game.

For the new look of Claire, the studio wanted to take inspiration from the kinematics where she drove her bike at the very beginning of the original game. As for Leon, Capcom wanted to give him a younger look to emphasize the fact that he started in the police. Find Claire's picture and the jacket below

In a completely different field, we also learned about the collector's edition reserved for our American friends. For the moment, we do not know if it will be similar in Europe. It will be sold at a price of $ 199.99 and it will contain the following:

  • A copy of Resident Evil 2 Deluxe that contains several clothes for Leon and Claire, weapons and the clbadic soundtrack.
  • Digital soundtrack
  • A Leon Kennedy figurine
  • A collector's artbook
  • A plan of the police station during its renovation
  • Everything will be included in a RPD box

] Resident Evil 2 will be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on January 25, 2019.
