Route of the Tour de France 2019 in Alsace: an arrival on July 10th in Colmar and a departure on the 11th in Mulhouse

It is live from the Palais des Congrès in Paris, this Thursday, October 25, 2018, that was formalized the route of the course of the 2019 edition of the Tour de France. The tour will leave Belgium on July 6 before going through Champagne, Lorraine and Alsace.

The plot is therefore the beautiful share in Alsace, represented by two steps:

  • July 10, 2019: the fifth leg starts from Saint-Dié-des-Vosges (Vosges) and arrival Colmar (Haut-Rhin). It will pbad by the pbad of Saales, Schirmeck, the side of Grendelbruch, Obernai, Barr, Châtenois, the side of Haut-Koenigsbourg, Ribeauvillé, Kaysersberg, the coast of Trois-Epis, Turckheim, the side of the five castles, Husseren the-Castles and Colmar.

  • July 11, 2019: the sixth step is to departure Mulhouse (Haut-Rhin) and arrived Planche des Belles Filles (Haute-Saone). It goes through Guebwiller, The Markstein, the Grand Ballon, Bischwiller-les-Thann, the Hundsruck pbad, Masevaux, the Ballon d'Alsace, before leaving the region towards the Planche des Belles-Filles.

This is the seventh time since 1947 (the year of the return of the Tour after its interruption by the Second World War) that Colmar appears on the route of the course. The last one goes back to 2009. As for Mulhouse, present for the last time in 2014, is a regular of the Tour: she will appear for the fourteenth time.
