As every year, Samsung is preparing a new flagship for spring in the Galaxy S range. The manufacturer has got used to developing its generations over two years, with the first year a change of design (Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S8), and the second year a refinement of this design (Galaxy S7, Galaxy S9). The next on the list, the Galaxy S10 will in turn mark a major change in design, it is the boss of Samsung himself who announced it.
We have gathered all the rumors, leaks and official information about this new smartphone in this complete and regularly updated file.
Three variants
One of the first concordant information about this new generation is that it will not be composed of two, but three models. This information was confirmed by David Ruddock, chief editor of Android Police, who interviewed a reliable source.
Speaking of Samsung news: A reliable source tells me that Samsung will launch three Galaxy S10 variants next year, and all three are coming to the US. Corroborates previous rumors.

We do not yet know exactly how to differentiate these three smartphones. In addition to a clbadic model, and a "plus" model, the third model could be a 5G version reserved for a few regions. Most likely, because being the most recurrent rumor, however, this third model is a "lite" version.
Design
The Galaxy S10's design should be radically changed compared to the Galaxy S9. It should include a new generation of screen "Infinity Display" that should cover most of the front. Samsung has developed technologies to hide the sensors on the front of the screen, and really no longer have borders around the screen.
Like the Huawei Mate 20 Pro or the OnePlus 6T, the Galaxy S10 should include a fingerprint reader under the screen, not at the back of the phone. The brand would also take the opportunity to get rid of the cumbersome iris sensor.
Screen
Samsung presented at the latest Developer Conference, a new generation of Infinity Display screen, with 4 possible forms: Infinity-U with a U-notch, Infinity-V with a V-notch, Infinity-O where the photo sensor is surrounded by the slab, and New Infinity which does not hint any edge.
According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S10 should use an Infinity-O AMOLED display.
Performance and internal components
Unless surprise, Samsung will once again integrate an Exynos chip developed internally in its high-end smartphone. It will be presented on November 14 and should be engraved in 7 nm. In the United States, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 should be integrated. In both cases, the chip should be accompanied by a 5G modem. Samsung has already introduced its own model, the Exynos Modem 5100.
The Exynos chip is expected to incorporate an NPU processor dedicated to artificial intelligence, just like what Huawei is offering with the Kirin 980. The SoC should be supported by 8GB of RAM LPDDR4X; the LPDDR5 is only planned for 2020. However, the storage memory should be faster thanks to UFS 3.0.
Camera
Since the Galaxy Note 8, Samsung also offers several photo sensors on its smartphones, to help the camera to take good pictures in various conditions. With the Galaxy S10, the camera could integrate up to 5 photo sensors, including three rear sensors. With the Galaxy A9 (2018), Samsung offers a smartphone with 4 photo sensors on the back.
Samsung could use the Isocell sensors unveiled in October 2018 that capture a record definition of 49 and 32 megapixels. Huawei incorporates a 40 megapixel sensor on the back of its Mate 20 Pro.
Software
The Samsung Galaxy S10 will run Android 9.0 Pie, the latest version of Google's system. They should benefit from the new interface Samsung One UI, which replaces Samsung Experience (Ex TouchWizz).
Availability and prices
With the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, the Korean brand has far exceeded the 1,000 mark, since the launch price of the 512 GB version was 1,259 euros. It is not yet known at what price will launch the Galaxy S10, but the possible release of a variant "Lite", less expensive seems to be an indication that Samsung intends to maintain high prices for its new flagship.
The release of the device is expected for next spring.
