After the Samsung Galaxy A8 and A8 Plus, it is the turn of the Galaxy J3 and J7 to officially enter the market. Scheduled for the beginning of June, they finally arrive in the United States and should soon also land in France.

The Galaxy J3: the entry-level

The J3 (2018) is the least expensive of the Samsung Galaxy family. It includes a 5-inch HD screen in 16: 9, an Exynos 7884A chip coupled to 2 GB of RAM and clocked at 1.4 GHz and a storage space of 16 GB. Fortunately, it is possible to use a microSD card. The J3 incorporates an 8 Mpix (f / 1.9) camera on the back and a 5 Mpix (f / 2.2) front camera. Even if it's not the number of megapixels that counts, remember that the model of 2017 had a back-end sensor of 13 Mpix. It hosts native Android 8.0 Oreo and has a battery of 2600 mAh.

As the year before, it should be proposed around 219 euros.

The Galaxy J7: the small mid-range

It can be difficult to see the difference between a J7 and the most accessible models of the top range, the Galaxy A. If the J are supposed to represent the entry-level, the J7 is closer to a small mid-range. Without being more efficient, it remains higher than the J3 on other points and should be sold at around 300 euros.

The Galaxy J7 (2018) opts for a 5.5 inch HD slab in 16: 9 format as well. Just like the year before, we find a rear camera of 13 Mpix and a secondary in the front of 13 Mpix. On the processor side, no difference with the J3: an Exynos 7884 with 2 GB of RAM. However, it offers more internal memory with 32 GB and a larger battery capacity of 3300 mAh. Android 8.0 is also expected
