Like every week, Sea of Thieves hosts a new minor update. Aside from the usual bugfixes and other performance improvements, Rare took advantage of the 20th anniversary of one of his flagship licenses to give him a little wink at stake.
It was in 1998, on July 7 in Europe more precisely, that Banjo-Kazooie was released on Nintendo 64. To mark the occasion of its 20th anniversary, Rare integrated in Sea of Thieves a figurehead of the bear and bird, available for 1998 gold coins until July 31st. The studio also tells us that there is only one week left to participate in the current event which is to chase the skeletons that carry barrels of powder.
