The second free practice session of the British Grand Prix, Friday, was dominated by Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari), in front of both Mercedes

After a first free practice session dominated by the Mercedes and notably Lewis Hamilton, the leader of the Championship Sebastian Vettel raised the tone Friday afternoon by signing the best lap of the second session (1'27 '' 552).
        

The Ferrari driver beat Lewis Hamilton (1'27''739) and Valtteri Bottas (1'27''909) while his teammate Kimi Raikkonen was fourth fastest (1'28''045). On the French side, Esteban Ocon (Force India, 1'29''467) was eighth while Pierre Gasly (Toro Rosso, 1'29''831) was 13th. Rough in the first session, Romain Grosjean (Hbad) did not enter the track, as did Max Verstappen (Red Bull).
