taxis go green

Timeless, and even irreplaceable. The famous London taxi, the black cab, crosses the streets and epochs, since the 1950s, with its recognizable silhouette, but also with the crackling of its mufflers. It is soon old history, because now, the black cab is distinguished by its silence, that of its 100% electric motor.

Of the 21,000 black cabs in London, more than 500 are now equipped with electric motors. Because little by little, London banishes all its diesel taxis. Every new vehicle put into service now has the obligation to run on green energy.

New vehicles that are also cheaper for drivers. For seven days of work, the refills cost on average 45 euros against mileage equivalent, 250 euros of fuel for the old blacks cabs. These new electric taxis could soon land in other European countries where demand is strong: in the Netherlands, Norway, but also in France.
