"Last roped", "I cost a crazy money", "Gaulish refractory" or "Mafia breton" …
On the "Enlysée" website, cups, T-shirts or stamped bags
Emmanuel Macron's short sentences since the beginning of his term make a real splash. In a month of existence, the parodic site
of the Elysee shop has raised more than 30,000 euros, which will be donated to three badociations that support migrants,
Franceinfo reports on Friday.
The Abbé Pierre Foundation, the Auberge des migrants, Salam, are the three badociations that will be able to share the 30,000 euros collected by the site "Enlysée". Each badociation will receive 10,000 euros to help migrants and the homeless. For the badociation Salam, which distributes nearly 500 meals a day in Calais, this sum represents 10% of its expenses. "We live a lot on donations, recoveries and there it allows us to do what we never do, buy a little fruit from wholesalers, buy socks, gloves, etc. These are costs that we often have to postpone, "said Salam President Jean-Claude Lenoir to Franceinfo.
"If it could bring out some of us, by Christmas"
Launched a little over a month ago by three young people from Calais and Lille, the parodic site has since registered more than 3,000 orders. Now, about fifteen volunteers are busy imagining, designing, producing and sending new goodies. And to continue to collect donations for badociations, the site puts on orders for Christmas, with the creation of a special pack.
"We are impatiently waiting for Emmanuel Macron to become the godfather of the Enlysée's shop, that would make us very happy! Said one of the three founders on the radio. "Whether it's the" crazy cash "or
"to cross the street", we could not have imagined them ourselves, so, frankly, we thank him very much.
If it could bring out some of them, by Christmas and until the end of the five-year period, we could pay back a lot of money, "he added.
