Rémi Gaillard thanks François de Rugy for his commitment, "even if he does not seem to agree on the video, but it's the emotion I think". Foxes are considered pests by hunters because they are predators of small game. Hunters receive a "hunting bonus" by killing foxes.

Soon the Anymal festival in Montpellier
After having locked himself in a cage like a dog to raise funds for the Montpellier SPA, Rémi Gaillard has multiplied initiatives in favor of the animal cause. The comedian initiated an Anymal festival in Montpellier, the next edition of which will take place on November 17th at the Zenith.
He also drew public and institutional attention to two polar bears from Marineland, an animal park in Antibes, and obtained their transfer. He had already called the Minister of the Ecological and Solidarity Transition at the time. It was Nicolas Hulot. He had also flown to the rescue of Kiwi and Dominique, two bears from the Fort Mardyck Zoo in Dunkirk, to be transferred in 2019 to the Zoodyssey animal park in Deux-Sèvres.
