The American company Hasbro, specializing in toys and games, announces the arrival of a Monopoly Fortnite in France in collaboration with the Epic Games studio.
Starting December 12, fans of the Battle Royale genre, and more specifically the license Fortnite, will be able to challenge their friends on the famous places of Fortnite Island. One goal: to be the last survivor on the set. Monopoly Fortnite is already available for pre-order on Amazon, Micromania and Fnac for 24.99 euros.
Hasbro unveils the features of the version Monopoly from Fortnite:
- Live the Fortnite experience on a Monopoly game board
- The health points replace the money. If you fall to zero, you lose the game
- Nobody starts on the square. Players can choose their location and avoid attacks early in the game
- The properties are places on Fortnite Island. When you stop at a place that does not belong to anyone and is not covered by the storm, you can grab it for free! Just take the map instead
- There are two dice, one die to move on the board and one action die: throw a boogie-woogie bomb that will kill other players or build a wall to force players to stop!
- When you stop on a place covered by the storm, you have to pay the bank the number of life points indicated on the storm side of the map place

As a reminder, the Royal battle mode uses Fortnite's gameplay elements in a competitive multiplayer context. At the beginning of each game, the players are all waiting in a flying bus that flies over the island, then they choose a landing point on the island using the game card, look for weapons and deals, and then can start to fight or stay hidden according to their strategy. This mode is available in solo (where 100 people compete against each other), in duo mode (100 people in teams of 1 or 2 players) and in "section" mode (100 people divided into teams of 1 to 4 players).
