the new high-end smartphone Honor is revealed a little more

[ad_1]

To conclude her high-octane lecture at the IFA in Berlin, Honor had quickly shown her future Magic 2, a smartphone inspired by the Oppo Find X. The camera hides its front cameras in a sliding drawer. allows it to be fully edge-to-edge and devoid of any notch.

A week from its official presentation in China, leaks are multiplying on the Web. Technical characteristics, photos, videos … The Magic 2 is less and less mysterious.

A sliding drawer … but manual

Unlike the Oppo Find X, the Magic 2 drawer is not motorized. To make it appear, you have to slide the back of your smartphone. A process surely less expensive, which should allow to sell the smartphone at a cheaper price than the 999 euros of Find X. Xiaomi will also offer a drawer "manual" with its Mi Mix 3.

For the rest, the Magic 2 is presented as a high-end smartphone with the characteristics of dreams. OLED screen of 6.39 inches, Kirin 980 processor, 6 or 8 GB of RAM … One should even find a 3D facial recognition system (hidden in the drawer therefore) and a fingerprint sensor under the screen. In other words, the Honor Magic 2 incorporates many of the features of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, but in a different design.

On the back, the Magic 2 seems to be the exact copy of the Huawei P20 Pro. The triple camera module is arranged identically and would carry three sensors of 16, 24 and 16 Mpix. Impossible to know if there will be an ultra-wide angle as on the Mate 20 or if Honor will be satisfied with a monochrome lens like on the P20 Pro.

A new Honor watch?

On the Chinese social network Weibo, promotional images reveal the existence of a new "Honor Watch". If we take the cliché, the watch would take the design of the Huawei Watch GT. We imagine that it will have the same characteristics.

It remains to be seen if these novelties will arrive in France. Recall that Honor has a habit of announcing its products first in China before holding a second international conference a few months later.
