The second suspect, implicated in the badault of a police couple in Seine-et-Marne, was placed in police custody on the night of Saturday, July 7, announced the parquet of Meaux. Aged 24, he is the younger brother of the first suspect arrested and placed in custody Friday, July 6.

Known for drug trafficking the two attackers acted out of revenge, following an identity check in Aulnay-sous-Bois a few weeks ago. Wednesday evening, around 21 hours, they beaten a couple of policemen in Othis (Seine-et-Marne), who came to recover their daughter of 3 years at his nurse.

This aggression was violently condemned by Emmanuel Macron who denounced the "ignominy and cowardice" of the two attackers on Twitter. Gerard Collomb has promised that "everything will be done to challenge and bring to justice the perpetrators of this odious aggression".
