After the official online store of Nintendo in the United Kingdom in April, it is the turn of the official website of Spyro Reignited Trilogy to list a version Switch of the game. Indeed, for a few minutes, it was possible to choose a Switch version in the pre-order section, but also a PC version, while for the moment, Spyro Reignited Trilogy is officially scheduled on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only for the 21st of September. Of course, in making this choice, Activision indicates that the "current selection is not available" in all regions (a fairly amusing thing, it is possible to choose the Switch twice, but that does not change nothing). From now on, the site no longer lists these versions Switch and PC, but here is a screenshot:
It may be that this is simply an error of Activision, d as much as the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy site lists the Switch and PC versions of the game in the same way (only differences: the font is not the same and the PC version is listed after the Switch version). However, this coincides with the rumors we mentioned in our previous article and with the fact that the Nintendo UK store had listed the title a few minutes. Officially, Activision has still not made an official announcement on this subject, but there is no longer any doubt: Spyro Reignited Trilogy is very likely to arrive on Swich (and PC) as it was the case for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy (the developers have had virtually no difficulty in wearing the game on Switch, as we explained here), and we will surely have confirmation in the coming months, perhaps during an event such as gamescom 2018 or during a Direct .
Developed for the 20 years of the series by Toys for Bob (Skylanders, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy on Switch …), this compilation will contain the three original games released on PlayStation : Spyro the Dragon Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! (released under the name of Gateway to Glimmer in Europe) and Spyro: Year of the Dragon which have all been fully remastered in high definition with enhanced environments, controls, and cutscenes, and more so, like the music of Stewart Copeland that was "Reimagined" by Stephan Vankov . As we learned during the 2018 Comic-Con International: San Diego it will even be possible to choose the original music instead of those of Vankov. Moreover, new Copeland tracks that had never been used in the original games will be included.
