The Porsche Macan is getting a makeover

[ad_1]

Seen from the outside, little difference with the current version, except that a new band of taillights highlights the name of the brand. Porsche still announces a more sporty version than its predecessor, with Porsche Traction Management (PTM), an active all-wheel-drive system that delivers greater traction and more cornering. Optionally, it will even be possible to integrate a sport exhaust system.

The new Macan also gains comfort, thanks to its active suspension (PASM) which continuously regulates the damping for each wheel. Raised sports seats also contribute to this feeling of comfort. Always on board, the Macan has a new screen, larger (11 inches against 7 currently), allowing easy access to various functions and information about the car and an online navigation system. As an option, music lovers can enjoy Bose or Burmester surround sound systems. Finally, for a better quality of air inside the vehicle, an ionizer will also be proposed in an optional way.

The Macan has already sold more than 350,000 units since its launch in 2014, which means that makes the best seller of the brand. Note that Porsche has still not announced a hybrid version of its SUV, yet very expected.

In the end, there are few notable developments to note for the Macan, which will be discovered at the next World Cup. car, from 4 to 14 October 2018 in Paris
