The waterspouts that fell as a result of the violent storm caused significant damage to Tournay. The commune Bigourdane was flooded on an area going from the entrance of the highway A64 to the road of Tarbes, by way of the station.

The employees waited for the level to drop to begin cleaning the floor. The boss, Christophe Simeon, is stunned by the very rapid rise of the water.
In the offices of his garage, a neighbor and her two children came to take refuge. Their garden is totally flooded and they were taken care of by the firefighters who brought them to Christophe Simeon. The mother tried to save her cars, without much success. She is waiting for the recession to see the damage inside her home. She and her family will not be able to sleep at home that evening.
A little further on, a booted man wearing a neon parka also reports the incident. This is Régis Pierrot, Deputy Mayor of Tournay. His house, slightly elevated, was not affected, unlike his garden. Camille Denagiscarde, the Mayor of Tournay, also came to see the disaster area. He regrets that in addition to being affected by the floods, his town also serves as a backup route to vehicles diverted from the A64. "It's double punishment for us," he regrets.
