First "unorganized but locally strong storms" are expected in the afternoon, according to the French observatory of tornadoes and violent storms Keraunos. They will be "accompanied by hail and gusts near 80 km / h", adds Météo France.

After a relative calm during which more isolated storms will be observed, a storm-storm front will cross the entire south-west of the country between second part of the night and the morning of Monday. Thunderstorms will be less violent but they will bring in places of heavy rainfall, especially in the southernmost departments. It is often expected 30 to 50 mm on the episode, locally 50 to 80 mm.

On the bordering departments in yellow vigilance, locally strong thunderstorms are also expected in the night but they should be there more isolated and less durable

Monday early in the morning, the weather will always be rainy and unstable in New Aquitaine and Occitania. This sometimes sustained rainfall remains badociated with storms. But this unstable weather will shift in the second half of the morning to the east and the Mediterranean.

In the Southwest, the sun will gradually return in the afternoon, despite some showers. On the side of the temperatures, the maximum will be slightly lower but should nevertheless be understood between 25 and 28 degrees in New Aquitaine.
