It can then cause irritation and redness, as well as headaches or sinusitis. This can be particularly problematic if you sleep, for example, with your contact lenses. The ideal? Remove them before going to bed and keep a glbad of water on your bedside table in case you are dehydrated.

However, if we are not subject to allergies or asthma, nothing forbids us to fall asleep with the fan turned on. If the fan has a timer, enabling it to turn off automatically a few hours after you fall asleep is ideal so that you do not spend the whole night in a draft.
