The French rugby sevens team finished the World Cup in eighth place. Indeed, the Blues finished their competition with another frustrating defeat against Scotland (29-24) in San Francisco.
Eliminated narrowly in the quarter-finals by New Zealand (12-7), the Blues have a record of two wins for three defeats. They finish however better than on the world circuit where they finished at a disappointing 13th place.
