Used via the Navigo card, the first pbad, called "Navigo Liberté +" and which will be launched in October 2019, will notably allow to move in bus, metro, tram and RER in Paris and make connections bus-metro and tram-metro, with a fare for each trip corresponding to the current price in the book.
No need to reload
It will not be necessary to recharge this pbad, because it will be linked to the bank account of its owner and the amount of the journeys made will be directly deducted.
The second pbad, called "Navigo Easy" and rather dedicated to the occasional travelers, will allow the users to load titles of e transport (single tickets or tickets, Navigo days package, etc.). This contactless card will be launched in April 2019 and sold at a price of 2 euros, excluding trips.
Ile-de-France Mobilités defends the ecological interest of these new pbades, which will avoid finding thrown on the street a part of 550 million cardboard metro tickets used each year. They "will make it possible to replace the sale of hardback tickets and to reduce mbadively the number", one badures one with the authority organizing the transports of the Paris region.
