Francisco Lindor is back.

The Slippery Mets returned to Citi Field on Tuesday and were expected to get a big boost with Lindor’s return to the lineup, activating the shortstop ahead of their game against the Giants.

Lindor extended his slash on July 16 and hasn’t played since, skipping a rehab mission to return to the Mets, who are in the middle of a 2-8 streak against the Dodgers and Giants.

“It’s huge to find him,” said manager Luis Rojas. “His presence on the pitch is something that we missed.

Lindor’s return pushed Javier Baez to second base, Jeff McNeil to left field and Dominic Smith to the bench, at least for Tuesday’s game.

Lindor had had a rough offensive start this season, but slashed 0.333 / .489 / .500 in the July 12 games before getting injured.
