Frank Fritz will not be returning in “American Pickers,” a person familiar with the show’s confirmed plans for TheWrap. TMZ first reported the news.

Fritz did over 300 episodes of the History show with his former partner choosing Mike Wolfe. Fritz hasn’t appeared on an episode of the antiques show since March 2020. A combination of back surgery and a pandemic may help explain part of Frank’s absence from the popular History show – but not the totality.

“I haven’t spoken to Mike for two years. He knew my back was fucked up, but he didn’t call me to ask me how I was, ”Fritz told The Sun earlier this week. “It’s just like that.”

“The show is tilted towards [Mike] 1,000 percent, ”Fritz added. “That’s great. It’s like you have Aerosmith and there’s Steven Tyler and he’s the frontman. I found my place, I’m second and he’s number one on the show. .It’s not a problem with me, maybe he has a problem.

Fritz told The Sun that he thinks Mike “wants to bring in his brother Robbie to replace me.”

Robbie has reoffended in “American Pickers,” as have other minor characters, but he’s not expected to become Mike’s full-time partner in the show, we’re told.

Season 22 of “American Pickers” – this one starring just Wolfe – airs new episodes Mondays at 9 / 8c on History.
