‘Frasier’ revival with Kelsey Grammer arrives on Paramount +, more series announced

Kelsey Grammer returns as Dr. Frasier Craine in a reboot of the beloved “Frasier” series coming soon to Paramount +, CBS’s renowned streaming service.

News broke on Wednesday during ViacomCBS’s streaming show that the Emmy-winning sitcom is getting a second life, along with many other series and films.

“Having spent over 20 years of my creative life on the Paramount lot, both producing shows and playing in several, I want to congratulate Paramount + on entering the streaming world,” Grammer said in a commentary. press release obtained by TVLine. “I look forward to sharing the next chapter in Dr. Frasier Crane’s continuing journey.”

Other series coming to Paramount + include the seventh and final season of “Younger”, two spin-offs from “Yellowstone” titled “6666” and “Y: 1883”, and a feature film “Ray Donovan” with the star from the Liev Schreiber series about to co-write.

“Criminal Minds” is also getting the reboot treatment and will be accompanied by a series of documentaries. The procedural drama originally aired for 15 years on CBS.

Paramount + will also feature a new crime anthology series titled “American Tragedy,” based on the hit Paramount Network miniseries “Waco”.

And a series of series adapted from Paramount’s extensive film library, including “The Italian Job”, “Love Story” and “Fatal Attraction”.
