DURAND JONES AND INDICATIONS – "LONG WAY HOME"

Durand Jones & The Indication releases new album Call of American love Colemine Records from On Dead Oceans and here's another taste of his soul with the classic sound that carries a social message. "Aaron [Frazer] I was playing something on the guitar and felt it was really the case with something I was writing in my journal, a reflection on my experience of the American justice system, "says Jones. "Aaron liked what I had and added his perspective on refugees, immigrants and the systemic barriers they faced upon their arrival. I can not help but think of the brothers and sisters in the American prison system whose lives are ruined by minor convictions. How do some of my friends at home now manage their young adult lives as criminals and all the obstacles – social, political and economic – attached to it? I'm also thinking about how we do not do these tests alone. And if you're ready to help something, it usually comes back when you need it. We must show each other.
