With up to nine free agents to start, money to spend and a desire to win, the Twins could potentially be very active this offseason. While they aren’t likely to make Josh Donaldson’s size splash this winter, the Twins have plenty of work to do as they revamp a roster with plenty of vacancies.
As they prepare to push for a third straight Central American League title, the Twins appear to have needs in the starting rotation, the reliever box, the utility entry point, the outfield and perhaps be at the receiver. It remains to be seen how they fill those voids and how much payroll they have compared to the club’s record $ 140 million last year.
