As the PS Plus streak continues through February 2021, it’s worth seeing how the month ticks all the right boxes for a selection of games.
Playstation plus subscribers can claim their three games for the month now, these being AllStars Destruction, Control: Ultimate Edition, and Concrete Genie. Needless to say, reviews of AllStars Destruction It’s probably not exactly what Lucid Games was looking for, it’s an overall impressive month.
Indeed, it seems that the last time PS Plus had a “bad” month was May 2020 when its titles selected. Farming Simulator 19 and Cities: Skylines. Many fans were in an uproar, and even many signed a petition to change the games for the month, but it all comes down to opinion. Fine-tuning what makes a good PS Plus month and what makes the rare bad month is not an exact science, although it can be obvious at times. Interestingly, though, PS Plus’ free games for February 2021 still manage to form the perfect checklist for a month of gaming.

PS Plus – AllStars Destruction
Arguably, AllStars Destruction is a game that seems to develop a dedicated fan base, although the majority are not exactly happy with it. This game tries to complete the same shoes as Fall guys and Rocket league, but he misses the mark. That’s good, though, because the success of the aforementioned two games is special, and not all games (including a PlayStation exclusive) can replicate it. Again, AllStars Destruction is likely to be played for a while, and it fills the entry-level niche of PS Plus’s “user-friendly” multiplayer game.
What that means, in terms of a month’s quality, is that PS Plus is working on uniting the players. Even if AllStars DestructionThe mic wasn’t ideal on day one, having the means to keep gaming online and playing new games with friends is basically the heart of modern gaming.
PS Plus – Control Ultimate Edition
However, multiplayer isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Many prefer strong solo experiences, and Control: Ultimate Edition covers this forehead. Control sees the players take on the role of Jesse Faden as she searches for her brother and fights relentlessly against his. In many ways, this is a modern video game adaptation of Star warsThe concept of The Force, but it’s neither here nor there.
Indeed, where Control just basically splits PS Plus subscribers into two camps this month. It’s entirely possible to be on both sides, but for those who want a silly, silly multiplayer game, there is AllStars Destruction. Those who want a fun multi-hour adventure with an interesting story have Control. PS Plus manages to take on both single and multiplayer this month and provide a little something for both, although either game doesn’t scratch that particular itch anyway.
PS Plus – Concrete engineering
If sharing PS Plus with multiplayer and single player play helps the service get on the checklist, Concrete engineering is arguably what brings it to the next level. Control has probably been played by many (although this update is free through this method), AllStars Destruction is brand new, but Concrete engineering released in 2019 as a game that many may have slept on. It’s almost as if this month’s PS Plus approach is something old, new and blue. AllStars Destruction is, in a way, out of the blue; Control: Ultimate Edition, in a way, is a new version of the game; and Concrete engineering, in a way, fills the magic formula like something old.
But on top of that, Concrete engineering contains optional VR elements. Virtual reality is still in its infancy, but there’s a good chance it will one day have a bigger impact on the gaming industry. Either way, while PS Plus sometimes includes a VR game. , the option here really doesn’t restrict anyone to play it, regardless of their choice. The limitations of its VR mode aren’t much of a problem either; it is the idea more than anything else. With SP, MP, and VR all having a role in the February games, along with a unique and generally broad appeal to each game, PS Plus’s hotspot series is clearly not slowing down – it’s still very much on fire.
