Keemstar has gone to Twitter to announce the return of Friday Fortnite with funding from Faze Clan.
Anyone who follows Fortnite in competition since the beginning knows that Friday Fortnite was the beginning. It was the rendezvous Twitch was looking at in the summer after the release of Fortnite and which put several banners in the limelight.
Friday Fortnite has, in many ways, paved the way for the current Fortnite competitive scene, serving as an unofficial test of the community's interest in competition in Fortnite. Quickly, Epic began organizing its own tournaments.
The Friday Fortnite competitions ended when Epic also began organizing their events on Friday, a move that seemed to intentionally attract Friday Fortnite Pool players.
However, the competitive landscape is different now, and the competition, Fortnite, has turned to weekend qualifying, leaving a free spot on Friday night.
Today, Keemstar has announced that Friday Fortnite tournaments would be profitable with funding from FaZe Clan.

Those who do not know what's going on between FaZe and Tfue can get a glimpse of it here. Basically, Tfue is suing FaZe Clan to terminate his contract.
FaZe, for its part, claims to have withdrawn only $ 60,000 from Tfue during its contract. As you can see, the game organization is putting that money into play at the Friday Fortnite tournament.
As we have mentioned, Fortnite Friday was responsible for the catapult career of many streamers now popular in the Fortnite community. Tfue was one of them, and Keemstar mentioned that Tfue would never have been invited to participate in this event without his affiliation with FaZe Clan.
Regardless of the drama, it's always nice to have another competitive Fortnite tournament.
The old Friday Fortnite rule game was once the "hit pub". Two teams were competing for a public match on the same team and were arguing over who could get the most victims.
Private matches are now available, however, it might be more logical that Keemstar and guys change the original format to be more in line with the official Fortnite rules. This would also encourage more serious competitors to consider the event as an interesting practice for the World Cup.
