PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Frozen meals from the Boston market are being recalled due to possible contamination by glass and hard plastic.
The recall concerns "boneless pork ribs with barbecue sauce and mashed potatoes" from the Boston Market Home Style Meals product line.
The US Food Safety and Inspection Service said that consumers complained of glass or hard plastic in the rib-shaped slab. There have been no confirmed cases of adverse reactions due to injuries after consuming these products.
Frozen meals were shipped to retail outlets throughout the country. According to the Boston Market website, several Giant Eagle products in the Pittsburgh area sell the product.
