Full rosters are out for Reese’s 2021 Senior Bowl, which takes place on Saturday at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile.
There are 134 confirmed players for this year’s game, about 25 more than in previous Senior Bowls. Due to the NFL’s COVID-19 protocols, players who withdraw from the game due to illness or injury cannot be replaced.
The players are divided into “American” and “National” teams, also breaking with the “North vs South” format in the past. Carolina Panthers staff coach the US team, while the Miami Dolphins coach the National.

Most of the players with state and local ties are grouped into the USA squad, including Alabama quarterback Mac Jones, offensive linemen Alex Leatherwood, Deonte Brown and Landon Dickerson, long snapper Thomas Fletcher. , Auburn linebacker KJ Britt, UAB wide receiver Austin Watkins and linebacker Jordan Smith, south Alabama linebacker Riley Cole, wide receiver Kadarius Toney (Blount High School graduate) and defensive back of the central Florida Aaron Robinson (a transfer to Alabama). Dickerson will not play due to a knee injury sustained in the Rose Bowl vs Notre Dame.
Top names on the national team include Alabama running back Najee Harris and Michigan wide receiver Nico Collins (Clay-Chalkville graduate). Alabama wide receiver DeVonta Smith – the winner of the Heisman Trophy – and Ohio state running back Trey Sermon are also on the national list, but neither will play due to injury.
A big name withdrew from the game on Monday with Florida quarterback Kyle Trask no longer on the roster. Athletic’s Dane Brugler reports that Trask is suffering from an ankle injury.
Jones will be joined at Team USA’s quarterback by Texas A&M’s Kellen Mond and Jamie Newman, a transfer from Wake Forest who was briefly with Team Georgia. Quarterbacks for the National Team are Feleipe Franks of Arkansas, Sam Ehlinger of Texas and Ian Book of Notre Dame.
