Funko’s new Baby Yoda figure is perhaps the most morbid of pop! Again

Baby Yoda revealed her culinary tastes in the latest episode of The Mandalorian on Disney + and Funko Pop! has a new figure to commemorate it.

Baby Yoda revealed her unique and rather morbid food cravings in the latest Disney + episode The Mandalorianand Funko Pop! already has a new product to commemorate it.

The toy maker launched its latest Star wars– themed figurine representing the youngster – actually called The Child – longing for the incubation box containing a selection of delicious frog eggs. In the final episode of the “Chapter 10: The Passenger” series, The Child is revealed to have a mischievous thirst for the unfertilized offspring of the alien known only as the Frog Lady.

The Frog Lady is the passenger referenced in the title of the episode. The amphibious alien claims her husband knows where to find other Mandalorians Din Djarin is looking for, and The Mandalorian agrees to give her passage in exchange for this information. Before they even reach the planet where Frog Lady’s husband can fertilize his batch of eggs, hungry and curious baby Yoda decides to serve a few of them as a snack.

Din Djarin’s mission is part of a larger quest to unite the child with an invisible – and supposedly extinct – group of Jedi Knights.

The Funko Pop! release is part of the final batch of weekly releases as part of the Mando Mondays franchise promotion. New releases also include a Baby Yoda plush toy, wearable electronic Mandalorian helmet, and other clothing.

The latest Funko Pop figure! Joining the company’s existing line of Baby Yoda products, including a bobblehead figure. Other releases are pending, including one with The Child and Din Djarin riding a Bantha.

The availability of Baby Yoda merchandise leading up to the next holiday season is a stark contrast to last season. The child was first introduced in the pilot series last year, but the character’s unforeseen popularity resulted in high demand that could not be met in time for giveaway season.

The figure sells for $ 24.99.
