Tyson Fury will have a weight advantage of 39 pounds in the ring when he meets Deontay Wilder for the third time on Saturday night for Fury against Wilder 3.

Two-time heavyweight boxing world champion Fury (30-0-1) tipped the scales at 277 pounds on Friday during the event’s official weigh-ins. Wilder (42-1-1) weighed 238 pounds.

“Look at his condition,” Fury said. “His heart is beating now. His balls shrank inside of him. There is a man here who is going to destroy you, Dosser. Me. The gypsy king. Tyson Fury is the name and the fight is the game.

“I can’t wait to be Saturday night. I’m really going to seriously hurt him. He will be unrecognizable after the fight.

Fury and Wilder have fought twice before, with their first meeting in 2018 ending in a draw and Fury winning the rematch in 2020 via TKO in the seventh round.

Fury weighed 256.5 pounds for the first fight and 273 pounds for the second, while Wilder tipped the scales at 212.5 pounds and 231 pounds respectively for the two contests.

“I do bench press on 350 so no matter how much weight it comes in I can lay down on my back and lift it up,” Wilder said. “So none of this is going to rush me and put all that weight on me.

“We got younger. We have reinvented ourselves. Redemption is upon us. And I can’t wait to show the world who I am. I reintroduce myself to the world as Deontay Wilder.

Fury vs Wilder 3 takes place on Saturday, October 9 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
